One ordinary day, I went for a walk along the shoreline.
I didn’t plan to get into the water just to enjoy the moment. But after some time under the sun, the sea started calling me. I wanted to jump in without thinking… but I wasn’t wearing the right clothes. By the time I found a place to change, the magic of the moment was gone.
That day, I realized something: summer shouldn’t have pauses.
That’s how Swim Favours was born to create versatile pieces that merge the best of swimwear and activewear, designed to move with you seamlessly, in and out of the water.

OUR STORY
Swim Favours was founded by fashion designer Irina Burgos Fomenko, who dreamed of this brand ever since graduating in 2012. However, the journey was neither immediate nor easy.
For several years, Irina went through a difficult personal season that led her to lose sight of herself and her dreams. In 2014, she experienced a spiritual encounter with God that marked a turning point in her life. This moment began a process of healing and transformation that restored her faith, clarity, and courage to dream again. It also inspired her to create Felina Magazine (@Felinamagazine) a community primarily of women entrepreneurs that is now well established and has impacted thousands of lives.
It was in this season of renewal that Irina returned to the dream she had always carried in her heart: creating a fashion brand that unites swimwear and activewear, designed for women who live with authenticity, freedom, and joy.
At that moment, Irina invited her brother David Burgos Fomenko, a graphic designer, to build the brand together. David lives in the spectrum, and in a world where many neurodivergent people face barriers in the workplace, Swim Favours also became a space of real inclusion, shared talent, and family collaboration.
That’s how the brand’s DNA was born: a story of second chances, faith, resilience, love, deep creativity, and two creative souls pursuing a shared dream.
After going through moments that shattered dreams and certainties, Irina and David have always shared the same conviction: Swim Favours is a gift from God.
The brand was born as a new beginning an opportunity to believe again, to heal through creation, and to transform pain into purpose. Today, they see it as a living hope: a project that reminds them every day that it’s always possible to dream again, to build, and to bring something beautiful into the world.
